Greetings from Colorado.

So it's been a while since my last update. I've been in Colorado for a little over a week now, doing a travel story on Leadville. Today I walked down to the Arkansas River right before the sun set and I realized how lucky I am to be in such a beautiful part of the world. Sometimes it's easy to forget that when you're working your ass off every day, but there it was, staring at me in the face this evening. And I couldn't walk away from it; I just stared and sat and let the beauty around me absorb into my soul. My mom has been harping that message to me all week when I've called her freaking out about this or that: "Enjoy where you are and stop worrying about everything," she says. I couldn't agree more.

Thanks Mom.

Dude, love the dupedict!!! With the river and you looking at the river with the river behind you. Its just so RIVER!!! Really though, what an awesome post. That's what the Rockies are all about, is those moments where you find yourself totally wrapped up In it. As if the landscape has frozen you in place so that IT can take a good look at you. Awesome. Don't use that, I'm gonna copyright it!

Oh shit! Sorry about that. Sometimes I hate blogger and its dumb login procedure, I did NOT intend to post that so many times. I mean 2 or 3 times for the same post is fine, but four! Come on!

Yes, not worrying is what it's all about. Worry is a waste of time. Stay mindful, in the present, and enjoy where you are. Especially when you are in Colorado beauty, or anywhere else with godsent beauty. Life is too short, don't you think?
